About Us

Hi!  Thank you for visiting my blog adventures with our new puppy!

My name is Ana.  I am a mother of three children and married to my best friend. We live on a small acreage. I have always loved dogs and wanted to work with them.

For as long as I can remember dogs have been my passion.  I have always wanted to work with dogs and possibly breed them.  Now that my kids are in school , I am exploring and pursuing my dreams.  I have always loved the Golden Retriever, and had one but it shed so much, my son and I had some allergies to her.  I was very sad to have to pass her on to another loving family.  In my search to find a great dog for us, I came across the golden doodle and fell in love with the breed.  I love the fact that the "breed" (I say breed loosely, because I know they are not considered a breed as such) started out to provide people with special needs or disabilities who had allergies, with the chance to have an assistance dog.

I have always been impressed by the assistance dogs, what they can do for people as well as the friendship they can offer, and how that can change their lives and give them hope and confidence.  This search has led me to the Poodle.  The Standard Poodle is also a remarkable dog with smarts and friendship.  They are also a dog that has worked as an assistance dog.

My love for the service dogs and the industry started in my teenage years.  Now my oldest son has been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.  He is very high functioning and does not appear to have a disability, but has emotional and social issues that he deals with.  Having said that, I wanted to get the right kind of dog for our family.

We are hoping to take our puppy along with us to many places including camping this summer.  I would also love to take her to hospitals/nursing homes/schools  to do visitations, after completing the appropriate training.  I have also loved agility, and would set things up for our family dogs when I was young.  There are so many options to check out, and I am looking forward to these adventures and more!
